Notices

While attending a primary school reunion, I discovered that a couple of the original group had passed away and none of us had known. Some of the people attending had once been close friends of the deceased and would have liked to have had the chance to show their respects. I myself only became aware by accident, of the passing of a friend's father - this family had almost been my second home when I was younger.

Anyway the idea to set up this area was born. If you become aware of information that old schoolfriends might like to know, please pass it on to us & we will post it here. Births, marriages, deaths, funerals, obituaries can all be posted here as can genealogy notices for those who use the genealogy areas of this site.

Reunions

There are no planned reunions that we are aware of at the moment.

PLEASE NOTE: Reunions are listed by their graduating year. You do not generally have to have actually been in that final class, it's just a way of identifying the group. So a High School class of 2000 for example, will include all those who did Year 10/Form 4 in 1998.

Deaths

Jenny DRAPER (nee LAKE), late of Solway State School, passed away on Saturday October 6th, 2007 after battling illness for some time.

Joy HARLAND (Solway State & Chaddy High) - (born Feb 15, 1960) passed away February 7th 1998. For more information click here & here.

Stephen GARDENER (Solway State & Chaddy High) - (born Oct 29, 1962) passed away on October 18th, 1981 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
